Had a great time at Villa Marea! The pool was perfect for cooling off, and we loved the free bike rentals to explore nearby beaches. The staff gave awesome food recommendations, though the walk to town felt a bit steep at times.

The staff was very helpful. This Villa is hard to find, even with a GPS but the staff meet us at the harbor and lead us to the apartment. Easy walk to the old town and the beach was so peaceful and beautiful. Very easy walk from the Villa.

The hotel/apartments were really nice situated in a calm and silent neighbourhood. The hosts were very nice and helpful, and the garden/ pool area was relaxing and nice. The cleaning and all service at this place was exellent. It was a nice walk through the woods for app. 8 min. to come to some nice beaches. A twnty minutes walk brought us to may be the most beautiful old town we have seen. Rovinj was nice! We recommend Villa Marea from our heart.

Villa Marea impressed me with its charm and friendly atmosphere. The pool area felt inviting. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchen in my room, great for easy meal prep. I loved the nearby beach, just a short walk away, with its beautiful scenery and affordable sun beds. The staff provided excellent local dining recommendations. The walk to the old town might feel steep for some, taking about 25 minutes. There were moments when WiFi connectivity wasn't stable, a bit inconvenient . Despite this, the overall cleanliness and attention to detail were great.

The staff at Villa Marea were fantastic - welcoming and helpful. A perfect first impression of what was in store for our Croatian trip. The apartments are extremely clean and tidy, and just a lovely 15 minute walk into the old town. Or a longer walk via the coastal walkway which is just superb. A very short walk to lovely beaches, and a pool to jump in at the end of the walk home. Fanstastic value for money and we stay here again in an instant.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There were bicycles available for hire (which we didn't have to pay for). We used them to cycle into the centre of Rovinj as the walk was about half an hour. The gardens and swimming pool/deck area were extremely well-maintained. We saw someone maintaining them on each of the three days we stayed there. The room and the communal areas were extremely clean.

Beautiful beaches nearby, Well-maintained garden and pool, Bicycle rentals
The lack of clear signage made finding the place quite frustrating!!! WiFi connections weren't stable , impacting my ability to work!!! The steep walks to town could be a deal-breaker for some guests.

Friendly staff. Generous size room. Bikes available. Beach only a short walk. Lovely swimming.About the right distance from town. Rovinj appears to us to be the best town in Istria. Although we felt the whole Croation coast offered excellent value for money and friendly service, Villa Maria stood out as exceptional.

Very convenient, especially for a several days' stay. Most of the accommodations in the area are apartments in large houses and it's a 20 minute walk to town or 10 minutes to the rocky (they all are) beach which is one of the most convenient entrees to the Adriatic. The nature reserve is right next door, and you can walk all around the coast from the town and come back up from the beach in an hour or less. Much nicer than the Opatija eastern coast which is covered with hotels and restaurants--this is nature. Whether you have a view or not from the balcony, there is usually a breeze and it's pleasant to eat breakfast there.
parking can sometimes be a bit tight because the neighbors like to reserve "their" spot in what is essentially town parking.

Cleanliness of the appartment; we were mostly alone to use the (medium/small) swimming pool. We could have two keys for the appartment.
Climatisation didn't seem to work, or his filter need to be changed.
